Stara Integrated Terrain Copy System

It is an innovative concept from Stara. The system performs the triple terrain copy by providing the best plantability of the category. The system consists of articulating the three crucial points of the seeder on the chassis and row units. The chassis articulation comprises pneumatic springs, matched row unit (row unit plus the chassis), and hydraulic control of the seed row unit pressure.

In-Furrow Spraying

The in-furrow spraying is factory-installed. For this reason, adaptations to the equipment are not required. The tank features three layers: a thermal layer is in the middle and insulated by two other polyethylene ones that ensure the thermal efficiency of the tank. Additionally, it adds the automatic adjustment of the rate according to the speed to guarantee spraying quality and uniformity.

DPS-E (Stara Precise Seed Placement - Electric)

The DPS-E, the Stara Precise Seed Placement - Electric) ensures the best seed singulation, easy cleaning, and maintenance. Another remarkable feature integrated is the seed rate compensation on turns. The advantage is that it ensures the same plant population for the inner and outer row units.

Estrela adds a remarkable feature: The best straw cutting of the category. The hydraulic system enables the adjustment of the cutting power on Topper.

The best hopper on the market

The central hoppers feature great autonomy and an easy loading process. Additionally, the fertiliser and seed hoppers are pressurized. It ensures full sealing and precision to distribute fertilizer and supply the seed hoppers.

Excellent fertilizer spreading

There are two fertilizer sections (two meter units) to enable the section shutdown for operations over boundaries to prevent overlap and save fertilizer. In addition, it adds pressurized pneumatic metering that keeps the fertilizer spreading uniform along the length of the planter.

Robust and easy maintenance

Estrela has only seven lubrication points. It is recommended to lubricate these points only once before planting operations to avoid stopping the planting operation and deliver excellent operating yield.

The fastest transport on the market

The fastest planter on the market - its sections are folded in less than one minute.
The transport width of Estrela is 3.20 m when the chassis is 21-25 and 4.15 m when the chassis is 27-33.
To transport the planter on flat-bed lorries, you only need to remove the closing wheels from the longer row units of the side modules.

Row-by-Row Shut-Off System

The Row-by-Row Shut-off System from Stara turns off automatically the planting row units at the exact time the monitor detects the area where it has already been planted. As a result, there is no overlap in the planting rows, especially on boundary applications. It delivers average savings of 5.03% for seeds, eliminating plant competition and increasing yield in these areas.

Zero Crop Damage

It is an exclusive Stara system that automatically shuts off the planting row units at the exact place where sprayers and spreaders will further pass over. The system provides seed savings of up to 4% regardless of the planting row unit direction.

Telemetria Stara

Through this system, you can manage your operations in the crop field in real time. Any device that has Internet access will provide you with.

Syncro*

Syncro is a system for data transmission via radio that allows communication with up to four Estrela planters to operate synchronized in the same field. The system provides better planting planning and practical and faster operations. Additionally, it allows for standard field handling, provides seed savings, and delivers higher yields since it avoids overlap and plant competition.

It is a remote access service that connects you, in real-time, to the After-Sales technician in the Stara factory. The connection is established through Topper 5500, which ensures fast and assertive support.

Control System

Variable-rate planting allows for instantaneous adjustment of seeds, with rates of 0.1 in 0.1 seeds per metre, ensuring the ideal spacing between plants.
